Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to commonly asked questions about our antiques fairs, booking process, and policies.

When is the market?

Capital Antiques Market Pimlico runs on the first and third Saturday of every month. Sellers arrive from 9am for setup. Early buyers (£5) can enter from 10am. General entry is £2 from 11am to 3pm (launch offer on 6 June: FREE entry 11am to 3pm).

Where is the market located?

We're at The Pimlico Academy, Lupus Street, Pimlico, London. SW1V 3AT, the same site as Capital Carboot Sale. The nearest tube is Pimlico (Victoria line). Parking is free and without restrictions on surrounding streets.

What types of pitches are available for sellers?

Van pitch (£50): Sell from your van at an outdoor pitch.

Car pitch (£40): Sell from your car at an outdoor pitch.

Walk-in pitch (£25): Outdoor pitch with a free table included, ideal for smaller setups.

Is there indoor selling?

No. All pitches are outdoor only. There are no indoor stalls at Capital Antiques Market Pimlico.

What can I sell at the market?

Antiques, vintage items, collectables, and furniture are welcome. No new or handmade goods please. We don't allow power tools, alcohol, tobacco, vapes, food/drink, weapons (including kitchen knives), counterfeit goods, or offensive material. See our full Terms & Conditions for details.

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes. We get very booked up, so book early to avoid disappointment.

What is early buyer entry?

For £5, early buyers can enter from 10am, one hour before the general entry at 11am. This gives you first pick of the goods on offer.

What happens if it rains?

We operate rain or shine. Bring an umbrella! Sellers may use gazebos as long as they are properly weighted. If our staff deem the weights insufficient, you may be asked to take the gazebo down.

Can I bring my dog?

Sorry, animals are not allowed on site. This decision is final.

Are refunds available?

All tickets (seller pitches and early buyer entry) are non-refundable and non-transferable in any circumstances.

What should I do with rubbish and unsold items?

All rubbish and unsold items must go home with you; we don't have rubbish disposal on site. Please bring bin liners. You'll be charged £10 per item left behind. Fly-tipping is a criminal offence.

What time do sellers need to leave?

Sellers pack up from 3pm and must vacate with all belongings. Overtime is charged at £5 per 10 minutes. The site must be clear by 4pm.

Is smoking allowed?

No. The site is completely non-smoking (indoors and outdoors). Vaping is also not permitted. Anyone found smoking will be asked to leave immediately without compensation.

How is Capital Antiques Market different from Capital Carboot?

Capital Antiques Market Pimlico focuses on antiques, vintage, and furniture rather than general car boot items. We run on Saturdays (1st and 3rd of each month) while Capital Carboot runs on Sundays. We're from the same team, at the same Pimlico location.
